OLGA LOYA, Latina storyteller and author, uses a dramatic mix of Spanish and English to share traditional tales from Latin America as well as historical stories, original stories and stories from her colorful life growing up in East Los Angeles. For 40 years, Olga has been encouraging listeners to participate, imagine, and love story.
GAYLE ROSS is an enrolled citizen of the Cherokee Nation and a direct descendant of Principal Chief John Ross, who led the tribe at the time of the Trail of Tears. Her grandmother told stories and it is from this rich heritage that Gayle’s storytelling springs. She has been telling stories professionally for over 40 years.
