Joey Novick, Esq. is an entertainment law attorney with experience working with storytellers, facilitators, trainers and speakers. He is the general counsel for the Applied Improvisation Network and the New Jersey Storytelling Network. He is a longtime volunteer attorney for the Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts in New York City, and the former Executive Director for the New Jersey Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts. Joey has provided workshops for the New Jersey State Bar Association, the Applied Improvisation Network annual conference, as well as many other bar associations and law conferences. As a storyteller, Joey has written two solo shows; and performed at Fringe Festivals. His solo show, “Comedian Elected to Town Council in New Jersey” was nominated for Best Comedy Performance at the Capital Fringe Festival.
