Humans are storytelling beings, creating narrative – myth – in order to make sense of our world. Storytellers Jason Buck and Jon Mason bring to life tales that re-story our urban environments and re-enchant the rural landscapes that we often hark back to.
Jon is currently researching his PhD in reawakening our environmental awareness through folktales and myths. Together he and Jason will talk through the backgrounds of a selection of stories, as well as telling them in an immersive online experience.

• Queen Rat (monster or maid, from London’s sewers)
• Memories of the Ice Age (Native American memories of deep time history)
• The Pembrokeshire Mermaid (where a magical creature encounters a church community)
• The Midwife (an old story retold in an urban setting)
